SO IT WAS WITH US PREMIERE // COLUMBUS, OHIO
Yesterday afternoon, SO IT WAS WITH US premiered in Columbus, Ohio at Studio 35 Cinema and Draft House. Close to 70 people attended the screening.
Short films by Matt Meindl and Brandon Reichart started off the afternoon matinee.

SUB-MISSION
Officially sent the film out to two film festivals! : Sundance and Vegas Independent…
I applied using withoutabox.com’s Secure Online Screener… Basically a private YouTube to use for submissions to film festivals. Though the video looked good – I think I will be sticking to DVDs for the rest of the festivals I apply to.
Jeff Brush has sent me the design for the DVD as you can see above – looks AWESOME.
Currently I’m working on mastering a DVD as well as working on printing posters.

POST-PRODUCTION

Finishing up the long road of Post-Production! Got the mastered audio tracks back from John Also Bennett the Sound Editor and I’m on to laying it over the final visuals… It seems after all this work, a movie has arisen from the depths of somewhere.

A huge chunk of time recently has been dealing with color correction/grading as well as placing Nathaniel Hartman’s original score over the film. It is a matter of finding the right fit I suppose – piecing it together cohesively.
